Protecting your privacy is important to Bentec. Because of this we want to demonstrate our commitment to upholding your privacy by making our information management practices as transparent as possible.
Personal information
When you browse this site you do so anonymously. We don’t collect personal information. We do log IP addresses to give us an idea of which parts of the site you visit and how long you spend there though we do not link your IP address to anything personally identifiable. The only other information automatically provided to us is the type of computer and operating system you are using. Your browser supplies us with this information which we use to tailor the site in the future. There are times, however, when we may need information from you e.g. your name and address. This information is sent directly to us and used for correspondence. We are fully committed to data security, however, while we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot ensure the security of the information you transmit to us. Any information sent by email is done so at your own risk and you should consider carefully its sensitivity before transmitting it. If in doubt you may wish to telephone or write to us instead. Bentec is committed to Data Protection and guarding your privacy. Bentec as a Data Controller will only collect and hold basic personal data from you and will not record any data that we do not require in order to respond to your enquiry. We will not share your information with any third parties except where required to by local legislative obligations. All the personal data submitted through this portal is processed by Bentec staff and may be transferred internally to our Bentec regional office closest to you in order to best provide a service to you (which may be outside of the European Union). The provider of this website uses the services of etracker GmbH, Hamburg, Germany (www.etracker.com) to analyse usage data.
